Imagine going into labour and feeling safe, supported, and upheld as you go through the intensity of labour and birth. The right support person will help you to feel emotionally secure and calm, and when it comes to birth, calm is your superpower! Being emotionally and mentally relaxed enhances your birth experience, as your body is in the best environment for a smooth birth.
Imagine bringing your baby into the world, taking them in your arms, and thinking “I DID it"!!”
As your local birth doula, it’s my goal to support you to exactly this experience, of feeling safe, supported and empowered to birth on your terms.
A typical birth support package with me would include:
3 antenatal home visits to make sure you and your partner feel ready for your birth, including working through your birth plan, giving you information on options available, providing resources, answering questions
Virtual support as needed throughout the pregnancy
On-call from 38-42 weeks
Continuous labour and birth support
Access to comfort tools for labour including birth sling, TENS machine, acupressure comb, essential oils, rebozo, and more
Postpartum debriefing visit
